Havre Intermodal

TXL is a standardized transportation platform in charge of leasing intermodal containers worldwide and re-selling them for other uses at the end of their offshore useful life (15 years on average). It currently holds c.17,500 Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) and provides its leasing services to over 1,000 clients, including the largest shipping companies in Europe. The operating partner at TXL is Touax Group, which is the #1 lessor in Europe and currently operates a fleet of 400,000 TEUs of containers.

The acquisition represents a strategic opportunity for Serena to own a platform of intermodal transportation with a robust and diverse portfolio of clients, characterized by long-term contracts and very high renewal rates, ensuring a stable and resilient stream of cash flows. The investment is fully aligned with Serena's commitment to generating positive impacts through infrastructure developments, given the distinguished sustainability credentials of this type of transportation.

Serena and its partners will support the development of new commercial opportunities that will allow TXL to grow and diversify their asset base.
